Biography

Vanessa Pegram, Owner

Vanessa Pegram is the founder and owner of Script Rx Consultancy and has her MFA in Screenwriting from The American Film Institute Conservatory. During her time at AFI she studied under Oscar and Emmy-nominated film and television screenwriters to hone her craft. Most recently, Vanessa was selected as a fellow for the 2022 RespectAbility Entertainment Lab. After years of reading hundreds of scripts for her peers, Vanessa was hired by a boutique talent agency in Hollywood, where she provided script coverage for projects in various stages of development for Nicole Kidman, Angelina Jolie, and Kate Beckinsale, to name a few. Vanessa has freelanced for several storytelling apps and written podcasts for Spotify. She has also been a reader for the BlueCat, Film Independent, Save the Cat!, Scriptation, and Finish Line screenplay competitions. Vanessa currently lives and writes in Los Angeles and also has her BA in Fiction Writing from Columbia College Chicago. Check her out on Instagram!
